I’ve got (almost) all my commissions in the post / collected and today I wrapped some of the gifts I’ve been buying from small independants.
I felt it was time to make the draw from my celebratory giveaway, which, if you recall I started on the 2nd November.
Blimables, how this year is flying for me. Anyway, I wrote out all the names of anyone who commented on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or WordPress and Mary-The-Magnificent has just drawn the winner of the £50 DGD gift voucher (either for them to spend or for them to give away)
And the winner is….
Donna Robson, please send me a message and let me know how you would like your voucher – electronically or in a more traditional paper format
This weekend we’ll be bringing in our tree and starting the decorating.
No this isn’t my Dalek, but I might make some like him this year 🙂
Congratulations to Donna…and thanks so much to you for the fun…and my brain can’t quite get over the astonishing gingerbread Dalek!

congratulations to Dawn!
I wouldn’t dare hang a biccie in the tree – the dog would eat it in 2 seconds flat. None of those fun chocolate décorations either.

I thought of you when I came across Corgi Socks yesterday (mentioned in a post from the Welsh Wool Museum)… have you heard of them? If not, take a look: https://www.corgisocks.com/collections/corgi-x-doctor-who
Oh and congratulations to Donna… lucky lady

Do Dalek Christmas decorations say “Cel-E-Brate!”, do you suppose?

As the recipient of a few over the past 30 years, I can confirm that Dalek themed cards and decs do tend to intone Celebrate in exactly the correct manner!

yup! I have a Dalek and a TARDIS cutter set. They were a 3d printed xmas gift from a VG pal. I use them for special occasions 🙂

Damn…now I’m doubly envious. I’d love anything 3D printed. If you’re baking over xmas can you make a Tardis for me? I’ll enjoy it digitally. lol

The joys of Etsy. There are people like me on there, in every medium 🙂

Confession time. I think I’ve only ever bought one thing on Etsy, and that was years ago. I’m going to check it out right now.

you can set your filter so you only look at items within Aus if you want, I only ever shop within the UK because of the customs and handling fee for anything outside.

-blush- I’ve only recently discovered that filter on Duckduckgo. It does help a lot. 🙂

I didn’t know there was one in the search engine. I meant there was one within Etsy 🙂

Oh! and OH! lol There’s a little slider thingie on Duckduckgo that allows me to see Australian results, but once they run out, I think it goes to international anyway.
